Music Saves Mountains Benefit Concert

From the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico to the Appalachian Mountains, humanity really seems to be doing a number on the Earth. Luckily, music stars from across the U.S. are fighting against the destruction.

The Music Saves Mountains Benefit Concert was the biggest gathering of music's singers and songwriters to raise awareness and fight against mountaintop removal coal mining.

Performers at the benefit included Alison Krauss, Buddy Miller, Dave Matthews, Patty Griffin, Kathy Mattea, Patty Loveless, Big Kenny Alphin, Brandon Young, Emmylou Harris and more.
