Avril Lavigne is typically a tough, punk rock chic who doesn't let anyone or anything get her down. In her video for 'Wish You Were Here,' she shows the softer side of her life.
'Wish You Were Here' takes a minimalist approach as most of the shots include Avril crying, sitting in a bathtubs, and on one occasion setting a flower on fire. And to make the look and feel come across as more authentic, Avril explained on Twitter that her emotions were produced without any stage tricks like onions.
'It's simple but emotional. Raw and real. Stripped down,' Avril tweeted.
