Chelsea Clinton campaigning in Puerto Rico

Daughter of Hillary Clinton tries to encourage the young voters of Puerto Rico to vote for her mother.

Chelsea Clinton daughter of Democratic Candidate hopeful will be heading south, this time campaigning for her mother Hillary Clinton in the US Territory of Puerto Rico. She will be attending some colleges and participating in some activities in order to encourage young voters to vote for her mother. So far the Clinton team has been doing a really aggressive campaign in the island. Two weeks ago President Bill Clinton was just in Puerto Rico campaigning for her wife and in other official business as well, inaugurating the new state of the art Bayamon Children’s Hospital.

Barack Obama visited the island back in November but was there to attend some fundraiser, and didn’t even talked to the media. Michelle Obama is scheduled to start campaigning for her husband in the coming weeks. Barack Obama himself is set to visit the island again as well as Hillary Clinton just before Puerto Rico’s democratic primary set for June 1st 2008. The island has 63 delegates up for grabs and some experts are calling the Puerto Rican Democratic primary as “Winner takes all” for the Democrats.
