The holidays like the 4th of July, is an ideal opportunity for one to learn more about the traditions and customs of your country of origin, understanding your land and how the place your grandparents, parents and other relatives came from.
Independence Day:

What is taking place:
The day that United States won its independence from Great Britain (England) on July 4, 1776.
How is usually celebrated in the in U.S.?
Since it is a national holiday and one of the most popular festivals in the nation, as in most cities there are fireworks displays, parades, baseball games and a number of community events, fairs.
It is very typical to a barbecue, grilling meats on the grill, and many houses can be seen that day the American flag or decorations white, blue and red colors of the flag.
In the evening: families tend to come out of their houses and block by block, you can see whole families sitting enjoying the fireworks.
How to give a touch of Latin flavor:
Traditional cuisine dishes to add Latin flavor to the barbecue, and listen to traditional Latin music.
Talk to your children and relatives about the importance of the independence of your country of origin and also welcomes those days throughout the year, to grow up proud of both cultures and their ancestors.
