Jennifer Lopez on Relationships: "It Took Me a Bit Longer to Get it Right"

The married mother-of-two reveals her road to happiness was longer than others.

She may have always looked like she had it all, but when it comes to love Jennifer Lopez reveals she only recently got what she wanted in a relationship.

"I have been in a few challenging ones," Jennifer said Wednesday at The Women's Conference in Long Beach, CA. "I have been in relationships that can make you doubt who you are and what you are capable of, and doubt what you deserve. It took me a bit little longer to get it right."

Raising children, she told the assembled group of 14,000 women and California First Lady Maria Shriver, "can make you more aware and more loving, and make you aware there's nothing they don't deserve. Your eyes open. Your heart opens."

She didn't name names when it came to her "challenging" relationships. Between the one that she had to fake to promote a career-destroying movie and the one that nearly landed her in jail, we know it must be a tough call...
