The singing starlet recently launched her new fragrance, Deseo, by doing an autograph session at Macy’s Herald Square in New York. But guess what? If you wanted to have a reserved space on the line, you had to be one of the first 300 people to purchase the fragrance. What’s even worse? Deseo was apparently being sold for the “modest” price of $94.50! That’s almost one hundred dollars to get J. Lo’s autograph. Apparently love DOES cost at thing.

So what’s so special about this perfume? Do you get J. Lo’s bootylicious body after spraying it all over yourself? Not exactly! Apparently the new scent has a mix of lemon, yuzu, cedar and tobacco. The fragrance comes in a bottle that resembles a huge cut-diamond. Of course for $94.50, you aren’t getting a real diamond, folks! Deseo means “wish” in Spanish. Don’t you WISH it was cheaper?

La Lopez has stopped at nothing to promote her new fragrance. Ads for the scent were reportedly shot at gorgeous, lush locations in Islamorada, Florida. One ad features a hunky, shirtless model (and not her man) posing behind J. Lo. Guess Jennifer realized that getting her machos involved with her projects usually results in a failure.

Need we remind you that Jennifer broke up with Ben Affleck after he made a cameo appearance in the music video, “Jenny From The Block.” Oh, and what about the film, “El Cantante,” where she co-starred with husband Marc Anthony? That was another flop. Will the new ad finally break J. Lo’s curse? Only time will tell!
