The actress recently appeared on entertainment news show, “Extra,” hosted by her good friend, Mario Lopez. During her appearance, Eva denied all the rumors about her possible pregnancy. She says that if she was knocked up, everybody would know about it by now.

But what about that “baby bump,” which has been caught on camera several times? Well, it turns out there’s many reasons for all that “fat.” Eva’s “Desperate Housewives” co-star, Felicity Huffman, gave her two cents about this whole situation. She recently told People Magazine that Eva is simply overweight! Huffman thinks Eva may be eating one too many hamburgers.

Ms. Longoria Parker admits that she has gained some weight and says it could be thanks to her recent European vacation. She and Tony were celebrating their one-year anniversary abroad and apparently all they did was eat and drink wine!

To dispell rumors even further, Eva says she simply wants to stay in character for this season. Apparently the “Desperate Housewives” storyline is jumping five years ahead, this season, and her character, “Gabrielle,” will gain some weight. The actress has even donned a fat suit for her role. Talk about being a dedicated actress!

Is all of this just a bunch of nonsense? Perhaps! As we reported a few weeks ago, “Desperate Housewives” creator, Marc Cherry, said the actress does want to get preggers. He told Us Magazine that the Parkers “desperately” want a child and that he will be one of the first to receive the good news, if and when she becomes pregnant. So once again, we ask, “Is she or isn’t she”? Perhaps only time will tell!
