Coco Hits The Big Screen

A biopic about fashion icon Coco Chanel will be hitting the big screen.

French actress Audrey Tatou, best known to American audiences for her role as Agent Sophie Neveu in “The Da Vinci Code,” will reportedly play Coco.

Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld will also be involved with the film, working as its artistic director. He will be supervising the designs being recreated for the movie. The film’s script is an adaption of L’Irreguliere, a biography about Chanel written by Edmond Charles-Roux.

Filming for “Coco Avant Chanel” begins September 15th in Paris and will last three months.
