According to Forbes magazine, Shakira was last year’s highest-paid Latin American artist.

The singer apparently earned $38 million, coming in at fourth on the list. Shakira topped other well known artist such as Beyonce Knowles, Gwen Stefan and even Mariah Carey!

The Material Girl, Madonna, came in at 1st place with earnings of $72 million thanks to her various record sales and shows, amongst other things.
