Over ocean-blue vodka mojitos, Fuentes shared her most timeless style secrets with Latina.com:

On her go-to makeup look: “Focus on the eyes, and keep the rest of the face natural and simple.” she says. “And I layer lip glosses. I use some for the shine, others for the smell.” [One of Fuentes' favorites is LipFusion in Bare.]

On straightening her naturally curly hair: “I’ve gotten it down to 30 minutes. I use a big barrel brush and blow dryer. For added volume and waves, I make pin-curls afterward.”

On her eye-popping trick: “Learn how to apply individual eye lashes! It’s trial and error, but it’s worth it in the end. They open up the eyes and create a great look.”

On her slimming secret: “Spanx! I’m a huge fan. The creator owes all her business to me!”

On her signature style: “Glamour is always at the bottom of it. I have my dress-up days and dress-down days, but it’s always glamour.”
