Angle started a wave of controversy when she told students they looked Asian at Rancho High School that is predominantly Hispanic.
There must be something in the water that is making politicians and journalist to say such controversial racial remarks on air.
Weather they meant it or not Angle's comment was highlighted when a students asked her on anti-immigrant law and on a series of campaign advertisements she used with images of dark-skinned men.
Angle, who is white and has Mexican grandsons, claims she did not know the people in the TV spots were Hispanic and makes the case that it can be difficult to pinpoint someone's race.
She denied that was her intent in the ad and defended herself by saying that man wasn't necessarily a Latino man.
Implying she can't distinguish a Latino person from their appearance, she tried to prove her point to the students, by saying:
"You know, I don't know that all of you are Latino. Some of you look a little more Asian to me. I don't know that,"What we know, what we know about ourselves is that we are a melting pot in this country.
My grandchildren are evidence of that. I'm evidence of that. I've been called the first Asian legislator in our Nevada State Assembly." She told the students that they are "misinterpreting" the commercials. "I'm not sure that those are Latinos in that commercial."
What does a "little Asian" mean anyway?
She used the wrong choice of words to explain her point of view that literally made her put her foot in her mouth, although she did not mean any harm, she was misinterpreted.
