Irish singer Stephen Gately dies

Shocking his family, friends and fans, famous Irish boy-bander Stephen Gately was discovered dead at the age of 33 in his vacation home in Majorca, Spain on October 11. The cause of the Boyzone front man's sudden death was not immediately known, though his family has denied reports that Stephen engaged in an eight-hour drinking binge the night before he was found. The star leaves his partner, Andrew Cowles, and the remaining members of Boyzone - Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham.
