The actress' vintage 1970s Ozzi Clark gown, which had a waist-high slit, caused quite a commotion on the red carpet...and for all the wrong reasons! Turns out Emma, who plays 'Hermione Granger' in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,' showed off her panties (see picture to the right) at the film's London premiere.

Apparently Watson was trying to adjust her dress on the red carpet, which was being plagued by rain and windy weather, when she accidentally put her underwear on display! During a recent interview on 'The Late Show with David Letterman,' the host asked her about the incident. Watson simply laughed about it and responded, 'At least I'm wearing underwear.'

Watson's wardrobe malfunction isn't the only news she's making in the fashion world. The 19-year-old is the new face of Burberry's fall 2009 ad campaign. The actress is also set to start college in the U.S., this year. Emma will reportedly study for a liberal arts degree, with a concentration in English or Art. No word yet on what school she'll be attending.
