TLC, the cable network that airs 'Jon and Kate' is currently running ads about the show’s upcoming episode. This controversial edition of the show is apparently replacing a 'Mother's Day' episode that was set to air that day.

The TLC commercial announces a one-hour episode and has caption phrases such as 'A Family in Turmoil,', 'A Relationship at a Crossroads,' 'Where do they go from here?' and 'Jon and Kate have an announcement.'

One part of the ad features the following voiceover from Kate: ‘Recently, we've made some life changing decisions. Decisions that will affect every member of our family, ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace.’

Several media outlets say this stunt may be a move to boost the show's ratings. Although the season premiere of 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' broke records for TLC, the show recently took a slip in ratings! Anxious to find out what will happen?
