According to reports, Pattinson was being escorted from a New York City bookstore to his trailer, when he caused another mob scene, this afternoon.

Although 5 security guards were reportedly surrounding the actor, they still couldn't protect him from a taxicab that hit him in the hip.

A witness claims the accident really upset one of Rob's security guards who allegedly yelled, 'You see what you did? You almost killed him!'

Pattinson is currently in the Big Apple shooting his latest film, 'Remember Me.'

No serious injuries were reported.
