Actor John Corbett, who many may recognize from his stint on Sex and the City or for being bombshell Bo Derek's boyfriend, returns to the small screen in a new TV movie based on a true story.

And since then there's probably been over 3000 special needs kids that have gone to space camp," Corbett told me during an intimate sit-down interview at Pasadena's Langham Huntington Hotel.

Wizards' Jennifer Stone Dishes On Selena Gomez (VIDEO) Corbett said many of the special-ed students were played by actors with Down syndrome, autism and other learning disabilities. "I'm hardly ever around young kids in my life, but to be with these kids for 5 or 6 weeks was a real treat for me. It was inspirational," finalized John.
